Muffet (part 2 and 3) ft Donut Guy
Also titled “pls buy expensive donut”. After 12 years in the making, Muffet is finally DONE! Part 1 is available on my tumblr as well.

Muffet is finally DONE! Don’t be mistaken, it is by fear that she was able to tame the beast.
This was a project for my Patreon. I don’t like promoting my Patreon or my other blog here since they are NSFW, but at least I have to show this safe render. The final full resolution, which is available exclusively on Patreon, is 3600x2700, the largest thing I can afford to render. It was done in several light layers, all of them would’ve taken 150 hours or more to render on my PC. Luckily, I used free coupons on online renderfarms and the layers were delivered in 9 hours. It was my first proper use of microdisplacement as well.

Been struggling with her face. I have a tendency towards more realistic face shapes and I hate it because it’s often uncanny and I love stylized cartoonish 3d.
The original face isn’t that bad but it doesn’t look much like Peridot, more like some random girl. Now it has a more cartoony silhouette and facial features, and looks more like her. Due to her big head compared to her body, the original face looks wrong. I’m still undecided and not that happy with the new face so I made a backup if change my mind. What do YOU think?
I’ve also been working on texturing some colors on her lips and eyelids, as well as cloth wrinkles and materials. I added hexagons for good measure, because everybody knows that hexagons are the future (thanks Adam Jensen) Those green circles in her visor are a placeholder for a possible HUD.
